⚠️ Abuse Protection: Our contact details (email, phone, address) are intended solely for factual communication regarding fair registrations/processing and legitimate inquiries. Abuse such as advertising emails, hate messages, threats, public defamation, or defamatory sharing in media/messengers (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.) is prohibited and will be prosecuted under criminal/civil law (§ 7 UWG, GDPR Art. 21, StGB §§ 238/241). In case of violations: report, damages, ban as an exhibitor, prohibition from attending our fairs.

2. Purpose and Type of Data Processing
We process personal data in order to provide our online offerings, to enable reservations and registrations for terrarium trade fairs, and to handle inquiries.
In particular, the following data are processed:
– Inventory and contact data (name, address, email, telephone number)
– Content data (form entries, messages)
– Event and booking information (date, location, animal species, booth size, etc.)
– Usage and metadata (IP address, browser type, device information, access times)


3. Legal Basis
The processing is carried out in accordance with:
– Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 TTDSG (consent, e.g., for online forms or cookies)
– Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract initiation, reservation processing)
– Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations, e.g., archiving)
– Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and economic operation)

4. Security Measures
In accordance with Art. 32 GDPR, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of protection commensurate with the risk – in particular access restrictions, SSL encryption, data backup, and authorization concepts.

5. Hosting and Email Sending
Our hosting provider (e.g., Strato AG) processes inventory, usage, and connection data on our behalf based on a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
Log files with IP address, date, browser, and system information are stored for security reasons for up to 7 days.

6. Contact and Registration Forms
When you fill out forms on our website, we process your information for processing and feedback purposes. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose, unless there are statutory retention obligations.

7. Cookies and Local Storage
We use only technically necessary cookies (§ 25 para. 2 TTDSG) to ensure site functionality and form submission. No tracking or marketing evaluation takes place.

8. Analytics and Online Services
For statistical evaluation, we may use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Dublin 4, Ireland). The IP address is anonymized, and Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Use occurs only if you agree in the cookie banner.

9. Integration of Third-Party Content (Maps, Fonts, etc.)
We integrate external services when this is necessary to display content. In doing so, the user's IP address may be transmitted to third-party providers.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in appealing presentation).

10. Social Media Presences
We maintain official pages on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland).
When visiting our profiles, Meta processes personal data according to its own privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.
We may receive aggregated insights statistics without individual identification.


11. Transfers to Third Countries
If a service processes data outside the EEA (e.g., Google Ireland → USA), this is done on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR).

12. Storage and Deletion
Personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its purposes. Commercial and tax retention obligations are 6 and 10 years respectively (§§ 147 AO, 257 HGB).

13. Rights of the Data Subjects
Pursuant to Art. 15 – 21 GDPR, you have the right to:
– Access stored data,
– Rectification or deletion,
– Restriction of processing,
– Data portability,
– Object to processing,
– Withdraw consent given with effect for the future.

15. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy if legal or technical adjustments become necessary.
The current version on our website is always authoritative.


16. Note on Warnings
If the content or design of this website violates applicable law or the rights of third parties, please report it without any cost note. We will immediately review the contested content and remove it if necessary, without involving a legal representative.
We consider the costs of a legal warning without prior contact to be unfounded in the sense of the duty to mitigate damages. Unjustified warnings or cease-and-desist declarations will be legally examined, and if necessary, we will contest them with a negative declaratory action.
